EXPLORE THE UNIQUE MEANING OF BOEN BIO TEMPLE ORNAMENTS IN SURABAYA

Klenteng Boen Bio is a place of worship for Confucianists in Surabaya and surrounding areas. Not only as a place of worship, this temple is also included in one of the cultural heritage in Surabaya. This temple is very interesting to explore and recommended to become a tourist destination because of the history and ornaments in it which are not only to beautify the building, but also have spiritual value and philosophical meaning in it.

Through an assignment in the Introduction to Research and Cultural Theory course with the lecturer Mr. Lastiko Endi, my friends and I from group 5 got the opportunity to make a vlog about Kleteng Boen Bio and the unique ornaments in it. 

It is hoped that through this vlog, the existence of the temple will become more widely known to the wider community, so that its existence as a cultural heritage site will be maintained. It is also hoped that many people will visit the temple, which will indirectly contribute to improving the economy of the community around the temple.
