A COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT CALLED "PELAN (PEDULI LANSIA)"

PELAN is the name of a community service project proposed by my friends and I (group 2) when we took an introductory class on scientific collaboration in the second semester. Here are the names of the initiators of this PELAN project.

PELAN is a proposed solution to the high death rate among elderly people caused by their declining physical condition and susceptibility to disease due to lack of education about healthy lifestyles and food recommendations.

This elderly care project was carried out on Friday, June 03, 2022 at 07.30 WIB at the Hargodedali Nursing Home which is located at Jalan Manyar Kartika IX No.22-24, Menur Pumpungan, Sukolilo District, Surabaya City, East Java. The activity includes delivering material related to healthy lifestyles and recommended foods for the elderly, question and answer sessions related to the material that has been delivered, playing quizzes, giving prizes, and photo sessions with the elderly.

From the PEDULI LANSIA activity, we hope that this activity will be able to provide knowledge and knowledge for the elderly to realize a healthy and dignified life in their old age.
